Where: Piedmont Center for The Arts
When: February 9, 2014, 12pm – 2:30pm
Bring the whole family to Stitch Modern! Not only to see the wonderful quilts, but to also participate in the activities on Family and Community Day on Feb. 9th from 12-2:30 pm.
A popular event for kids of all ages, we will have fabric-related arts and crafts, in which crafters can take their finished products home.
New to the event this year is the opportunity for you to design your own quilt block which will be made into a quilt by the East Bay Modern Quilt Guild. Quilts will be donated to the local Women’s Daytime Drop in Center. WDDC offers free services to homeless women and children to empower them to move from the streets to a home. We hope you can join us to learn more about quilting and help us provide a quilt to someone in need!
The quilt show and the Family and Community Day event are free. All ages are encouraged to attend.
