Stitch Modern dates are finalized for April 6 – 26 of 2015! Plenty of time to plan speakers, workshops and other great events. Please let us know if there something in particular you wish we could cover.

After a long, difficult day of choosing, quilts have been selected for the show, Amish: The Modern Muse. Thank you everybody that submitted a quilt. Due to the high volume of submissions, two shows will be presented. Please save the dates and come check it out.

November 15 – January 4 : Part I
January 9 – March 1 : Part II

Did you know the juror for the Amish show, Joe Cunningham, will be doing a 10 day class at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles as well? Taking place each Saturday from January 10 – March 14 2015, this class is designed to teach you the history of quilts as well as help you create your own original quilts. You can find all the details here.

Last but not least, we are in the process of changing our name! Members need to be on the google group if you want to be involved in the process.
