Is anyone is free from 1 pm – 3 pm today, 8/25, and knows how to do hand embroidery? The Social Justice Sewing Accademy is teaching a bunch of teens how to embroider and they could use a few more (volunteer) teachers. I’m volunteering with them. This time they aren’t meeting at Bay Quilts but at Girl’s Garage, 1380 10th St in Berkeley. Please just show up with your embroidery threads, needle, etc, if you can come.
